Sleep Quality

Sleep quality refers to the subjective and objective measure of how well one sleeps. It encompasses various factors, including the duration of sleep, the depth of sleep, the frequency of awakenings, and the overall feeling of restfulness upon waking. High sleep quality is characterized by a sufficient amount of restorative sleep, allowing an individual to feel refreshed and alert during waking hours. Conversely, low sleep quality can lead to feelings of fatigue, decreased cognitive function, mood disturbances, and other health issues. Assessing sleep quality often involves considering both physiological measures, such as sleep cycles and interruptions, and self-reported experiences regarding comfort, ease of falling asleep, and overnight disturbances.
